About Darya is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and construction law, with extensive experience in managing risks and liabilities. She joined Assael in 2022 to oversee and control the same for the firm’s appointments. Darya is the Vice Chair of the Radcliffe Housing Society, as well as a Research Associate at the King’s College London Centre of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and holds senior positions in the Association of Consultant Architects and the Construction Blockchain Consortium. Darya is a well-published author, researcher, and speaker on various topics, including procurement strategies for net-zero carbon construction, collaborative delivery to optimize whole-life outcomes, blockchain, disruptive technology, smart contracts, modern methods of construction, and collaborative procurement to support building safety.

The Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College London is a strong voice in the industry, known to the Government, HSE and the BSR, as well as other regulatory institutions. The centre brings together students, academics and professionals from across the industry and its work helps solve construction issues worldwide, from arbitration to supply chain management. As a unique and highly specialised centre, it is well-placed to complement the work of industry bodies and academic departments from other universities. Its partners include the University of Cambridge, the Ministry of Housing, the Cabinet Office and Local Government, and the many organisations involved in our signature project, the FAC-1 Framework Alliance Contract.
