SOS Masterclass: Zinc as a building envelope

Join us for the upcoming SOS Masterclass: Zinc as a building envelope, in partnership with VMZINC, to explore how zinc can be specified effectively to deliver durable, high-quality and visually distinctive building envelopes.

Used in architecture for more than 150 years, zinc combines longevity, recyclability and design flexibility with a wide range of roofing and façade applications. However, achieving the best results depends on selecting the appropriate system, understanding build-ups and detailing, and making informed specification decisions from the outset.

Led by Jonathan Lowy, Operational Marketing Manager at VMZINC, this session will examine the characteristics and performance of zinc as a building envelope material. The masterclass will explore roofing and façade systems, finishes, sustainability, construction build-ups and key specification considerations, while also providing practical guidance on procurement, budgeting and the technical support available throughout the design process.
