This module introduces participants to understanding and working sensitively within the historic built environment. Learners explore how to analyse heritage significance and setting, assess historic context, and navigate relevant policy and guidance. It explains when and how to engage a historic-environment consultant and outlines common risks in heritage projects, helping participants build confidence in seeking planning consents.
