  • Approaches to improve the performance of windows and doors
  • The importance of a ventilation strategy to ensure the successful installation of a mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) system.

  • The benefits of tools like PHPP, PHribbon and designPH for energy performance assessment and reaching targets

About this module

EnerPHit – the Passivhaus refurbishment standard from the Passivhaus Institute – is reframing how we deal with and upgrade our existing building stock. This module provides an introduction to retrofitting buildings to the EnerPHit standard. Participants will learn through immersive case studies and gain the practical understanding to embark on a successful retrofit project to the EnerPHit standard.
